Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Tampa, FL (33626)
Hourly Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:40 PM

POSITION SUMMARY:

Operate mechanical equipment to assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform machine shop and press operations.
• Read blueprints, calipers, and measuring tools.
• Detect and report defects or issues to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

SKILLS:

• Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Dependable, adaptable, and good at time management.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to use measuring tools and machinery safely.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Work in a climate-controlled environment with moderate noise and exposure to dust and fumes.
• Occasional lifting and moving of materials.
• PPE required (safety glasses and gloves).
