Job Title: Laser Machine Operator

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator responsible for the daily operation of laser cutting machines, including material handling and performing routine machine tasks. The ideal candidate MUST have a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience operating laser machines in a manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting machines.
• Move necessary materials to and from the machine.
• Perform quality checks on processed parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate production documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment or quality issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating laser machines in a manufacturing environment is REQUIRED.
• Additional 1–2 years of general manufacturing experience preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• This position is based in a manufacturing setting that may involve exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Standing for extended periods and handling materials weighing up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualified candidates who do not meet the minimum 1-year laser operation experience in a manufacturing environment will not be considered.
