Job Title: Finish Grade Dozer Operator
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Pay Rate: $23–$25 per hour (Based on experience)
Schedule:  7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday–Friday

Job Summary:
We are currently hiring an experienced Finish Grade Dozer Operator for a project in St. Petersburg, FL. This role requires precision operating skills for fine grading on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site development, finish grading, and operating heavy equipment efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a dozer for finish grading work, maintaining specified grade tolerances

• Follow site plans and instructions from supervisors to achieve desired contours and elevations

• Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure safe and proper operation

• Work closely with site supervisors and crew to coordinate grading and prep work

• Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all safety standards and procedures

• Identify and report any hazards, equipment issues, or safety concerns promptly

Requirements:

• 1+ year of dozer operating experience, specifically in finish grading

• Ability to read grade stakes and interpret site plans

• Strong attention to detail and precision in grading work

• Reliable transportation to and from the job site in St. Pete and/or Tampa area

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred:

• Experience with GPS-enabled equipment (Trimble or similar)

• Familiarity with other heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, etc.)

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
