·         Extremely high attention to detail.

• Candidate must have strong computer and communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• 1-3 years experience in Structured Cabling estimating or related field required.

·         Computer skills- AutoCAD, Microsoft, word, excel, and internet.

• Structured Cabling product and field installation knowledge.
• Skill in updating, maintaining, operating, AutoCAD software and related equipment.
• Ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing.
• The ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a team.

·         Understand and interpret customer supplied drawings and specifications.

·         Performs drafting operations for the determination of project plans and collect data for project designs.

·         Develops and drafts engineering drawings and plans in support of contract documents and generates correspondence for managers and customer request.

·         Performs regular computer software and AutoCAD maintenance, upgrading and troubleshooting

·         Maintains up to date working and technical knowledge of all AutoCAD procedural and improvement changes to computer hardware and software applications applicable to AutoCAD essential requirements.

·         Work closely with Project Management, Sales, and Field Installers to gather the required information to produce project documentation and accurate Estimates.

·          Office environment.  Be accessible to office staff and to use required office equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  Reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen frequently.
