Sales Administrator – Clearwater, FL M-F 1st shift  $16.00 – $18.00 per hour (temp/hire opportunity)

Education and experience:

  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Candidate must have a working knowledge of the goods or services to be purchased
  • Must have experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office and standard office equipment
  • Knowledge of Macola a plus
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must have good judgment and planning abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing information quickly
  • Must be able to work closely with a diverse group of people
  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
  • Must have good attendance and reliable transportation

You will train and perform:

  • Verifying the order has all required information for entry
  • If not correct, return to sales with checklist marked for corrections prior to entry
  • Entering the sales order utilizing the Macola system
  • Answering multi-line switchboard, redirect calls to proper person or department and take messages.
  • Serve as the central communication link to staff
  • You will work closely with the sales and accounting departments
  • Filing, coping and distributing correspondence
  • Maintain database of certificates of insurance
  • Tracking of sales exemption certificates
  • Update customer information in the system
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
