Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Oldsmar, FL
Schedule: First Shift – Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Salary: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Oldsmar, FL. This role involves performing a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple trades, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment servicing. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing machinery and building systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
• Use a wide range of hand and power tools, including drills, saws, hoists, and precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using repair manuals, blueprints, and testing devices.
• Repair or replace defective parts and reassemble equipment to operational standards.
• Install, align, and balance new equipment and systems.
• Maintain building infrastructure including plumbing, lighting, floors, and stairs.
• Order and manage maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Serve as backup for other maintenance functions as needed.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and performing basic building repairs.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent in speaking and writing English.

Education and Experience

• 1–3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
