Job Title: Roof Truss Assembler
Location: Gibsonton, FL
Shift: First Shift (Day Shift)
Pay: $17.00/hour

Position Summary:

We’re looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated individual to join our production team as an Roof Truss Assembler. This is a great entry-level opportunity with room for growth; we’re seeking someone who has the potential to step into a leadership role in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Table Leader in assembling roof and floor trusses according to work order specifications
• Use a staple gun to secure wooden components on the assembly table (depending on the line)
• Select and position connector plates correctly during the assembly process
• Operate pressure rollers to secure materials
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
• Help check materials and finished trusses for quality and accuracy
• Maintain and inspect hand tools (staple guns, presses, etc.)
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
• Move and organize raw materials as needed
• Perform other duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Prior assembly experience required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug test and have a clean background check
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow safety and work instructions
• Dependable and punctual

Job Requirements:

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and outdoor conditions
• Able to wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.)
• Willing to work overtime or flexible hours if production requires

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for long periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally push or move up to 110 lbs)
• Regular bending, reaching, and working at ground level
